(together, “Promoter” or “Promoters”).

Entry Restrictions

 

The directors, management and employees of any of the Promoters, and their immediate families, as well as the Promoters’ related companies, agencies, suppliers and all employees of the Queensland Government are not eligible to enter.

Promotion Period

Promotion commences 9:00am [AEST] on Monday, 1 July 2019 and ends at 11:59pm [AEST] on Friday, 20 September 2019.

Entry Method

 

Subject to the Entry Restrictions above, to receive an automatic entry into the draw, existing or new salary packaging or novated leasing customers of any of the Promoters must order and finance a vehicle through their Promoter before the end of the Promotion Period. New vehicles must be procured through their Promoter and financed through their Promoter's finance provider.

Entrants are limited to 1 entry only.

Prize Pool

The total prize pool is valued up to RRP $42,000, consisting of 73 individual prizes.

(i)  Grand prize:
There is one (1) Grand Prize, a holiday package to the Maldives for up to 2 adults and 2 children (aged under 12 years at time of travel), valued up to a maximum of $30,000.

Inclusions:

  • return economy class flights from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth or Adelaide available from the Promoter’s booking agent (excluding chartered flights);
  • transfers to and from the airport at destination;
  • 7 nights’ accommodation in a 5 star hotel (chosen by the Promoter);
  • Daily meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) included at resort;
  • Sunset dolphin cruise.

Important conditions:

  • Blackout dates: 20 December 2019 until 6 January 2020.
  • All passengers using the Grand Prize must be booked onto the same trip on the same booking.
  • The Grand Prize winner is responsible for paying all additional or ancillary costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to spending money, travel insurance, vaccinations, passport and visa requirements, some meals not included in the holiday package and all other incidentals.
  • The Grand Prize winner is responsible for seeking their own health advice and vaccination recommendations for the chosen holiday destination.
  • The Grand Prize winner will be provided with the contact details of the Promoter’s Corporate Travel Agent to determine the travel dates. The Grand Prize must be travelled by 1 November 2020 and is subject to availability.
  • The Grand Prize will be issued to the Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited.
  • If, in the Promoter’s reasonable view, the Grand Prize becomes unsuitable or unsafe, then the Promotor will work in good faith with the Grand Prize winner to determine a replacement prize of up to the same value.
  • Once the trip departure date has been booked, full modification and cancellation fees apply at the Grand Prize winner’s expense, (and the passenger names cannot be changed) as per the Promoter's Corporate Travel Agent’s standard booking terms and conditions and the airline conditions of carriage.

(ii) Weekly prize:
There is one (1) weekly prize winner each week throughout the Promotion Period, twelve (12) prize winners in total. Each prize valued at $500, comprising of:

  • One (1) x $500 flexi eGift Card

eGift Card will be dispatched via email. Recipient will be able to activate and redeem their flexi eGift Card following the instructions provided in the email. Recipient can choose which merchant or retailer they want to use the eGift Card at, from the list of participants, and they are not limited to just one store. Flexi eGift Card credit must be allocated to retailer(s) within 3 months of receiving your flexi eGift Card via email. Upon allocation to retailer(s), retailer Terms and Conditions and expiration dates will apply
 

(iii) Daily prize:

There is one (1) daily prize winner for each business day throughout the Promotion Period, sixty (60) prize winners in total. Each prize valued at $100, comprising of:

  • One (1) x $100 BP Gift Card

Prize Draw

All draws will take place at the Promoter’s premises, Level 8, 133 Castlereagh Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000.

Every Tuesday of each week at 3pm [AEST], starting Tuesday 9 July 2019 until Tuesday 24 September 2019, the following draws take place:

(i) Daily prize winner draws

  • The eligible entrants received on each of the five (5) business days (from the week prior), will be placed into five (5) separate draws and one (1) winner will be randomly selected from each draw. For example, on Tuesday 9 July, there will be one (1) draw to select one (1) winner from the eligible entrants from Monday 1 July, one (1) draw to select one (1) winner from the eligible entrants from Tuesday 2 July, one (1) draw to select one (1) winner from the eligible entrants from Wednesday 3 July etc.
  • One (1) $100 Fuel Card will be allocated to each winner.

Once an entrant has won a daily prize they will not go into any further daily or weekly prize draws in the promotion.

(ii) Weekly prize winners draw

  • The eligible entrants received from the week prior will be placed into one (1) draw and one (1) winner will be randomly selected.
  • One (1) $500 flexi eGift Card will be allocated to each winner.

Once an entrant has won a weekly prize they will not go into any further daily or weekly prize draws in the promotion.

(iii) Grand prize draw:

All entrants will be participating in the Grand Prize draw which will be drawn at 11am [AEST] on Wednesday 25 September 2019.Unless expressly stated within these Terms and Conditions regarding all prizes, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.

Notification Details

Winners will be notified in writing by email within five (5) business days of the draw.

In addition, the name of the Prize winners will be published online at https://www.autopia.com.au, https://www.selectus.com.au and https://www.smartleasing.com.au within two (2) business days of each draw.

Prize Claim Date and Time

 

Daily and weekly prizes will be issued to the winners on the last business day of the month they were drawn in.

The Grand prize will be issued to the winner within 10 business days of them being notified.

All winners will have three (3) months to claim their prize, by 12pm [AEDST] on 31 December 2019.

Unclaimed Prize Draw

If any prize is unclaimed by the Prize Claim Date, all entrants will also be entered into the unclaimed prize draw. The draw will take place at 11am [AEDST] on 8 January 2019 at Level 8, 133 Castlereagh Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.

Winners will be notified in writing within five (5) business days of the draw.

The name of the prize winner(s) (if awarded in the unclaimed prize draw) will be published online at https://www.autopia.com.au, https://www.selectus.com.au and https://www.smartleasing.com.au within two (2) business days of the draw.

GENERAL

 

  1. All information set out in the Schedule, including regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The Promoter does not take any responsibility for the cost of, or any other costs related to, the entrants’ access to the Smartgroup’s network of salary packaging or novated leasing companies’ websites or applications (App), including but not limited to the cost of Internet connection or bandwidth usage. 
  3. Incomplete, malicious or incomprehensible claims/entries will be ineligible.
  4. Prizes or any unused portion of any prize are not transferable or exchangeable.  Prizes cannot be taken as cash.
  5. All entries become and will remain the property of the Promoter.
  6. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
  7. Entrants consent to each of the Promoters using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  8. As a condition of accepting a prize in this promotion, each winner may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
  9. In the event that a prize(s) is/are not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize(s) in its discretion to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the various regulatory authorities.
  10. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct security and identity verification checks at its absolute discretion. Prize winners may be required to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize.
  13. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees).
  14. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including but not limited to: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
  15. The Promoter collects personal information (PI) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. Each Promoter will use and handle PI as set out in the privacy policy, which can be viewed online at https://www.smartgroup.com.au/privacy-policy (Privacy Policy). In addition to any use that may be outlined in the privacy policy, the Promoter may, for a reasonable period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.
